Audio Operator - The Audio Operator is responsible for running the audio board during a newscast.

Prior to the telecast the Audio Operator will conduct microphone checks for the talent, cue up audio carts, and set the tone level of the board to 100% to insure good audio throughout the broadcast.

During a telecast, the Audio Operator is responsible for all audio sources during the show. These inputs include audio carts for music, video tape audio with natural sound for voice overs and primary audio for all other pre-produced video tapes.
