The Department of Communication at Illinois State University offers a comprehensive and well rounded Master of Arts degree, which gives students a choice of either a thesis or comprehensive examination option. While the program is founded on a well balanced array of courses from differing communication disciplines, students are given the flexibility to pursue interest areas from a wide variety of studies, including interpersonal communication, mass media studies, public relations, political communication and organizational communication
