Interests:
Dr. Kang is an Associate Professor whose primary area of research is electronic
media. His teaching and research interests are: broadcast programming
and management, mass media policy, social effects of mass communication,
television socialization and enculturation, international cultural effects
of mass communication, mass communication theory and research design,
effects and functions of new communication technology and policy implications.

Teaching
Interests:
Dr. Kang has been an Assistant Professor at Augustana College and a lecturer/instructor
in the Communication Department at the University of Massachusetts. He
teaches such courses as Broadcasting in America, Broadcast and Cable Programming,
Broadcast and Cable Management, Television Production, Electronic Media
Research, Mass Media and Society, and the seminar in mass communication:
Media Effects.
